Ingredients

1 pack of cod tongues
2 eggs
1 lemon
2 chopped garlic cloves
Flour q.s.
Breadcrumbs q.s.
Oil for frying q.s.

Defrost the codfish tongues and dry them well with the help of a cloth or absorbent paper. Peel the garlic and mince it. Place the flour, beaten eggs and breadcrumbs on 3 plates.

Place the codfish tongues in a bowl and add the garlic, lemon juice and pepper. Leave to marinate for 30 minutes.

Then drain, brush the tongues first in the flour, then in the egg and finally in the breadcrumbs.

Place a frying pan with oil on the heat and fry the tongues on both sides, remove and let them drain on absorbent paper and set aside.

The breaded codfish tongues are ready! Serve with tomato rice or coriander rice or an egg salad.
