Cheese Bread with Codfish



2 Riberalves Cod steak
1 tablespoon of oil
1/2 small onion
Parsley q.s.
1 cup. of milk
1/2 cup. of Oil
Salt and black pepper q.s.
250 g of sour powder
2 eggs
1 cup. of grated mozzarella cheese


Today’s recipe tip is: Cheese bread with codfish. Shall we prepare it?

Defrost the codfish fillets, cook them in boiling water for approximately 5 minutes. Then, remove skin and bones and shred them well.

Soften the finely chopped onion in olive oil. Then add the codfish and cook for 1 to 2 minutes, just to blend the flavours. Add chopped parsley and mix well.

Bring the milk and oil, seasoned with salt and freshly ground black pepper, to the boil. Leave to cool, add the sour cornmeal, the eggs and the grated mozzarella cheese and knead well. 

Add the codfish and mix everything very well!

Line the baking tray with baking paper. Make small balls (2 to 3 tablespoons of dough each) and place them on the tray, separated from each other as they grow slightly. Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C for 10 to 15 minutes.
