Codfish Assis Style



800 g of Riberalves steak
500 g of straw fries
150 g of ham
2 carrots
1 red pepper
3 onions
2 garlic cloves
8 eggs
1 dl of milk
0.5 dl of oil
1 bay leaf
Salt and pepper q.b


An easy and very tasty recipe: Codfish Assis style. Let’s prepare it?

Cook the codfish in a pan with water and the bay leaf. Then drain it, remove the skins and bones, shred the codfish, and set aside.

Peel and wash the carrots, onions, garlic cloves and pepper. Grate the carrots, cut the pepper in half, remove the seeds and white skin, and cut it into strips.

Cut the onions into a half-moon shape and chop the garlic.

In a bowl beat the eggs with the milk, season them with a pinch of pepper and set aside. Heat the olive oil in a pan, add the onion, the pepper and the garlic cloves and sauté until golden brown.

Then add the carrot and sauté for a little longer.

Cut the ham into strips and add them to the pan. Add the cod and the potatoes and mix well. Drizzle with the egg preparation, adjust the seasoning and stir until cooked.

Remove from the heat and serve with olives and chopped parsley.
